I am a 22 year old, currently working in Plymouth. In my spare time I enjoy swimming, paddle boarding and tennis. I also really enjoy travelling, my most recent trip being a 4
month road trip around the USA. I also enjoy learning and trying new things, for instance I am currently learning French.
My Experience
Over the summer of 2022 I worked at a neurodivergent camp in Pennsylvania, USA for 3 months which cemented my passion for working with all manners of children. During this time I was responsible for the wellbeing of 8 children, 6 days a week. This ranged from making sure they were fed, clean and well rested, managing behaviours and making sure they participated in daily activities or at least tried. Working with SEN children, has allowed me to identify, monitor and navigate behaviours linked to autism and ADHA specifically. Prior to that I volunteered with an organisation called CoachBright that specialised in tutoring children from disadvantaged backgrounds. I volunteered in Plymouth and tutored maths to two students once a week after school.
