I have over 20 years experience working and looking after children, firstly a Nursery Officer in a private day nursery for 5 years then as a sole charge nanny for over 7 years looking after all age groups from Newborn upwards so have experience with all ages.
I’m also a mother to a 10 year old so have more recently been a stay at home mum.
I am hard working, honest, reliable and always punctual, fully committed to the growth, development and well being of the children in my care.
Most importantly I’m fun, creative, confident and forward thinking and can adapt to most situations, I’m dedicated to helping the children in my care to become happy and confident children.
My Experience
I have experience as a Nursery officer where I was caring for up to 5 children who attended on different days, greeting them and their parents/carers, looking after their well being, organising developmental activities, observations, personal care, updating their personal diaries on their growth and development.
Working as part of a team to ensure each child’s needs were met making sure we all communicated with each other and the parents/carers of the children.
As a nanny I was a sole charge carer for each child I looked after, my role was to provide a safe, happy and fun environment while maintaining the children schedules.
I provided healthy snacks and nutritious meals organised age appropriate activities and groups, encouraging learning through play.
I’m able to assist the children with any homework/reading or extra curriculum activities which are needed.
Also being responsible for the children’s evening routine which include bath and chill time.
