Appledore School is located in the heart of an ancient fishing village, rich in maritime history, where the River Torridge meets the River Taw in beautiful North Devon. Our nursery is within the dedicated Foundation Stage Unit where children are taught by qualified teachers who encourage learning through play.
Our pupils play an active part in their local community, regularly visiting the local library and enjoying talks from friends of the school. We explore the whole world from our classroom and have recently learnt about Spain, America and Egypt!
