About Me
Hi,my name is Sarah Meredith ( Sarah poppins nanny and babysitting services), I am a 35 year old female originally from Rugby. I have worked with children for the past 18 years in different childcare settings and have babysat since I was 15. I love creative play and going to the park. I am the eldest of 10 children so have grown up caring for my younger brothers and sisters.
I am trustworthy, honest and reliable. I also hold a drivers licence and am willing to drive for the right family.
In my spare time I like to go to spend time with family especially my 3 boys,attending exercise classes and socialising with friends.
In July 2013 I became a mum for the first time and now can relate to the parents I work for even more so now having a child of my own.
In 2018 i added another boy to my family.
I have just recently added my 3rd boy to my family in March 2024
I have continued to look after children throughout having my sons either babysitting,weekend work and babysitting and taking my children to work during the days.
I am flexible during the day time around dropping an picking up my children.
I am available during the summer holidays and half terms,I also work some bank holidays.
I am now available and looking for families to provide childcare for.
I also offer proxy parenting for holiday cover or weekend breaks.
My Experience
During my time in the fylde I have provided lots of different types of needs to all families and come highly recommended via all my families an when asked online my name is always recommended also.
I have worked in Cyprus as a creche Supervisor with children from 4 month to 4 years,I have worked as a nanny for 3 children since moving to Blackpool and have a very good friendship with the family and can provide references if needed.
I have also worked in many different nurseries in Rugby where i lived before moving to Blackpool.
I have also experience with children with special needs.
I have worked with my current family 3 days a week September 2018 til March 2021
I have experience with children varying from 4- 12 years as from time to time i have had to step in to assist in the kids club whilst in Cyprus.
My Qualifications
I have a CACHE Diploma level 3 in Childcare and also a level 2 in Childcare.
I have a NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care
A valid DBS and registered on the renewal service
Peadiactric first aid certificate fully up to date
My Availability
I am available any time mornings through to evenings(providing i can bring my little boy with me if its day time hours),weekdays through to weekends.
My children go to St Thomas school so i am happy to provide pick ups an drops if needed at that school or nearby if times don't clash.
I can also offer childcare for weddings and overnights weekends or weekdays.

- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)

Sarah was fantastic! The communication prior to the day was great and helped put me at ease, plus she kept me updated on how George was getting on throughout their time together.

Having recently relocated, the thought of finding childcare that even came close to our old childminder was incomprehensible. Then something came up so I had to try.
What a wonderful childcare professional Sarah is! She helped us out in a fix and my children absolutely love her and can't wait to spend time with her again. Knowing that they are in the care of someone so nurturing, capable and absolutely lovely gives us total peace of mind. As a parent, you really can't get better than that.
