About Me
I am a mummy to two wonderful children who attend primary school. I am a very passionate and reflective practitioner that thrives to provide the best experiences for children. My passion lies with nurture and care, providing children with a stable attachment to encourage them to develop independence and explore the world! I am also a strong advocate for the child's voice, children should be heard and their thoughts, wants and needs will be at the forefront of everything my setting will offer.
My Experience
I have 10+ years experience of working in early years, starting as an apprentice and expanding my knowledge through work based study within busy day nurseries and preschools. I am currently studying my final year of BA Early Childhood Studies which is giving my the knowledge to provide children with meaningful learning and care experiences. I have engaged in many training courses such as outdoor provision, tots on tour, phase one phonics and Infant mental health.
My Qualifications
I hold a foundation degree in early childhood studies and I am currently studying towards my full BA Hons Early childhood studies.
My Availability
I will be attending University on a Tuesday and Thursday, therefore my setting will be closed on those days. However, when I finish my studies and in the school holidays I will be open 4 days a week (Mon, Tue, Wed, & Fri).
I will be open from 7.30am to 5.30pm but will be closing at 4.30pm on a Friday as my own children have swimming lessons.
I will be closed weekends and bank holidays.
