About Me
My name is Alisha and I am currently undertaking my undergraduate degree in Psychology. As an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant at Coleridge Primary School, I have a passion for working with children of all ages.
Your child will receive personalised attention and care tailored to their needs. I understand that every child is unique, and I strive to create a fun and engaging environment where your child can feel comfortable and happy.
My first aid and safeguarding training, as well as specialised training in areas like hand skills (fine motor) for function, enable me to provide high-quality care and support to your child. My personal experience with my brothers who have autism and ADHD has also given me valuable insight into the challenges that families with special needs children may face. Whether your child needs help with homework, reading, or simply someone to play with, I am here to provide a caring and nurturing environment for them.
I am available on weekends however I am also available during weekdays (daytime and evening) during school holidays. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or would like to arrange a babysitting session. I look forward to getting to know you and your child!
My Experience
SEN Teaching Assistant at an Ofsted rated “Outstanding” Primary School, working with children with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, global development delay, speech and language difficulties, pre-verbal skills, and trauma. (September 2021 - present)
First aid training, safeguarding training, and specialized training in "Enabling participation in the classroom and hand skills for function" run by Haringey council OT team.
Personal experience with brothers who have autism and ADHD.
