About Me

I’m Roxy. I have over 10 years of experience working with children from birth - 5 years. I am available as a part time nanny Monday - Friday.
As you can see below, from my wide range of experience, I am very passionate about supporting children and their families. I love to work with children and support their developmental milestones through being creative and exploring the outdoors. I am flexible in my approach and follow the child’s interest and I adapt my activities around them, all while insuring the best learning outcomes. I don't mind getting messy in the mud, dressing up as a super hero or having endless tea parties!

I have 2 of my own children. A 5 year old and a 3 year old. are sociable and happy little children who love to play. My eldest is at school and my youngest is at preschool.

I am level 3 qualified in childcare and health and social care. I also have many other qualifications relating to children and their families as listed below.

I am a Ofsted Registered Nanny, which means I can accept the government tax free payment, but not the government free childcare funding.

Please do get in contact if you feel that I can help support you and your family. I'd love to hear from you.

I am currently only available on Mondays, Fridays and adhoc Tuesdays (although my 3 year old may be with me on Tuesdays).

My Experience

I have worked in a number of nurseries as a early years practitioner, where I worked with a range of ages. During this, I then became deputy manager of the baby room.
I then went on to work at the Bristol children’s Hospital as a health care assistant.
After this, I worked within the local children’s centre as a family support worker part time alongside another part time role in a Montessori nursery.
Most recently, I have worked within the health visiting service (pregnancy - 5 years) as a community early years practitioner. Within this role, I supported families in their own homes. This could be anything from baby massage, to toileting, fussy eating, sleep or speech and language. I have been trained in these areas and I am confident in supporting both children and parents through these development milestones.
I am now looking to continue working with children within a nannying position after having my own 2 children.
