About Me
Hi my name is Becky and I am a childminder Beckyslittlebutterflies.
I am a mum of 2 boys 3yrs and 5yrs old and until I had my children I was an Early years teacher.
I have decided to open my home and care for and teach through play.
It is a passion not a paycheck!
My home is located on a quiet estate and is surrounded by play areas and a lovely walk through trees to the river.
The children will have free roam of the living room, dining room and gated back garden. The kitchen will be cordoned off to keep them safe.
In this space I will be providing the EYFS curriculum in a fun and play based environment, as I feel children learn better through play.
I provide a rolling menu of hot lunches for the children who are with me throughout the day. These are freshly made, healthy foods that give children the energy to enjoy the day.
I also provide a morning snack of fruit and an afternoon snack which will be something heavier like a sandwich or sausage rolls etc.
For school drop offs and pick ups I will be walking due to vehicle space. All I request is that the children come with a waterproof coat and possibly an umbrella. Babies and toddlers will be seated in a pram with a rain cover wrapped up well.
My Experience
I have a degree in early years childhood and QTS.
I taught for many years at different schools in Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Preston. I was predominantly a reception teacher but have taught up to year 2.
I have experience in caring for babies from birth to 6 yrs old. I have raised two children myself as well as many others in my previous role as a baby room leader in a nursery. I have just opened and I am enjoying the new role

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I open at 7.30am and shut at 6.00pm
£55 All day (This includes, breakfast, hot lunch and 2 snacks)
£30 for AM half a day (This includes breakfast and lunch)
All Funding accepted
£5 before school (This includes breakfast if here before 8.00)
£15 after school (This includes 1 snack)

My little girl has been with Becky since she was 1. She was so wonderful with my little girl that I followed her from the nursery she worked at when she set up on her own. She has just been wonderful. She helps children to learn through play and she is so creative. My little girl has flourished in her care and she always talks about Becky, even when we are off for the 6 weeks summer holiday together. I could not have wished for a better child minder for my little one.

Becky has been taking care of my little ones since opening, my youngest who is 2 goes full time 5 days a week and my eldest who is 7 goes some days before and after school, Becky is always willing to cater to the hours I need! My youngest son Absoloutley adores Becky and she has helped him settle in so fast! I could not recommend her enough!

Becky is fantastic! Our little one settled so quickly with her…she is caring and provides imaginative learning opportunities for the children. We love being able to see what the children are up to during the day with the app she uses.
