About Me
My husband Pete and I are looking for a very special childminder / nanny to look after our very special daughter Allegra. Like all parents, she's our absolute world. She's beautiful, cheeky and charming; and is so used to both parents being around her she's also confident and secure. Pete was lucky enough to have 6 months parental leave (which has just ended) so we've been 100% hands-on for the full 6 months. We now need some help to give us back some precious time, and crucially to continue Allegra's development into an inquisitive, confident little girl as we move back towards balancing work and childcare. We are both ex-journalists; I now run a brand agency and Pete is returning to work as Director of Communications & Marketing at a national museum, where he'll be in the office a couple of days a week.
My Requirements
Someone experienced with six-month-old babies and willing to work flexibly / part-time (we're looking for approx. 2 days across the week). Ideally someone who's been a teacher or worked in a nursery setting. Absolutely vital that they're warm and adore our daughter. A bonus if interested in the arts as we're huge art/culture people - creativity and imagination are two qualities we want to flourish in Allegra.
