Seeking Experienced Childminder for 7-Year-Old with Autism-Multilingual.
Hello, my name is Aurora, and I'm currently seeking a worm, experienced, and proactive childminder to support my 7-year-old son,
My son attends a mainstream primary school (Year Two) and is full of curiosity, creativity, and depth. He is autistic, which brings both beautiful insight with transitions, sensory sensitivities, or moments of emotional regulation.
We are looking for someone who:
. Has experience with children who have additional needs, particularly autism
. Is multilingual, with a love for teaching languages beyond English
. Holds a driving License, as school pic ups are required
. can offer 25 to 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
. Is available to stay later on Wednesdays and Thursdays
Duties include:
. Daily school pickup
. Preparing or serving dinner at 6pm
Supporting with spelling, writing, numbers, reading or homework ( for about 30 minutes after dinner)
. Introducing other languages in engaging and age-appropriate ways
. Supporting his bedtime routine by 7:30pm
. Offering a calm, structured environment with clear communication and reassurance.
My son flourishes with consistency, positive reinforcement, and patience. He is a deep thinker with gentle heart, and we're looking for someone who can match his pace and help him continue to grow with confidence and care.
