I am a Montessori and connection-base childcarer to support children in their development to achieve their full potential. My work is guided by a respectful child-centred approach, emotional support by connection, sensitive observation, role modelling and refinement of the senses, according to the Montessori principles.
I find fascinating to observe children at play and I will always seek to find ways to develop further their interests, while building emotional connection for them to feel confident to explore the world around them. Then, with this positive environment I build with the children, the magic of learning will unfold!
Most of the learning experiences I provide are hands-on (either with real tasks or building Montessori-based activities with cardboard and recycled materials), and I will always invite your child to progressively engage in everyday routines for fostering their independence and self-esteem, as Maria Montessori explains.
I love being outdoors with the children, visiting parks, going to museums, and baking. I am a vegetarian, so I am a good role model for healthy eating.
Other than English, I speak Portuguese (at a mother tongue level) and French (fluent). I can also understand basic Italian and Spanish. I am interested in foreign languages and I will be happy to learn any key words that you speak with your children.
My Experience
I have 6 years experience in both private nurseries and in private families supporting children holistic development. My strong work ethos and commitment to continued professional development allowed me to build a strong bond with children and to scaffold a safe emotional environment for exploration and learning.

Level 4 Montessori Pedagogy (awarded in 2019)
RIE Nurturing Nanny course (completed in 2022)
Hand in Hand Parenting course and for Professionals (completed in 2021 and 2022)
Bachelor's degree in Law (awarded in 2004)
