About Me
I am a single mother and I work as a nurse. Due to my career and the passing of my mother, I've been having issues with childcare and adjusting my job to assist my current circumstances. As as result, I require help with looking after my child.
-My son is 4
-bubbly child, full of energy and loves to run about.
-He enjoys soft play, going to the park and any physical activities. He is also a fan of games that involve building items up then knocking them down.
-He loves to travel on public transport such as buses and trains - he prefers to be seated.
-Indoors, he does like to assist with cooking, he plays with toy vehicles, he does use a phone or tv to watch children's videos or shows. He likes to play with stickers, play dough and enjoys storytimes once in a while.
My Requirements
-I would require the childminder to pick him up from Dersingham primary school at 3:10pm. The childminder will need to take care of him until I return from work, around 6:30pm.
Toileting: Samuel is toilet trained, but he can have toileting accidents once in a while. Initially he may be shy to ask for the toilet - when he's not familiar with the adult. When he becomes comfortable around the childminder, he will ask to use the toilet, or he will just go to the toilet himself.
Eating:
- Samuel usually snacks on a variety of fruits e.g. apples, bananas, grapes, soft kiwis and oranges. He also snacks on biscuits, crisps, rice cakes and breadsticks. -He prefers hot meals such as rice with chicken stew, plain noodles, yellow plantain or traditional Ghanaian foods. I am still trying to explore new food items with him.
-Samuel may require assistance with feeding if the meal involves the use of utensils.
-I can provide a small meal for Samuel to have for dinner. However, I am happy for the childminder to provide hot meals for him as i want him to explore new foods.
