My Requirements

We're looking for childcare about 5 hours a day, four mornings or afternoons a week. Attie has down syndrome and so far is hitting all her milestones - she can sit well, feeds herself a range of foods, turns pages of books, is crawling and starting to pull up. Her care needs are the same as any baby her age. She likes books, music and people. She loves to be outside and we are keen on Montessori and forest school philosophies, though not strict at all. She has two naps a day, roughly an hour long and at around 10am and 2pm. She does all her poos and a lot of her daytime wees on the potty, so we'd like to find someone willing to pop her on every hour or so (we don't always manage it so no big pressure!), or when she is showing appropriate signs. We have a couple of key makaton signs that we use - food, toilet, more, finished - and it would be great if someone was willing to continue those with her. We'd love for her to be able to socialise with other babies and little ones.
