Hello, I'm Sue, I'm a registered childminder based on Laceby acres.
I've been childminding for 17 years now.
My daughter also works with me as my assistant for the last 16 years.

Sue and Marie and a caring mother and daughter I found sue and Marie’s childcare during covid when my baby was 6 months old I met sue in peoples park and I loved how she greeted me and spoke to my child instantly we walked and spoke for nearly 2 hours I was also suffering from anxiety which she put me at ease and worked really well with my needs and with me starting work at 7am they really go out there way to pick up and drop off 😊 there has been occasions we’re I’ve had to change childcare at short notice and they have gladly helped me on many occasions and worked well with me . My daughter is now nearly 3 and says she loves sue (the childminder) and she treats sues house like a second home 😊 I love how sue incorporates her daughter and family into the equation when childminding as it’s a perspective for my daughter to see other family’s that are close sue and Marie always ask permission for these occasions and other occasions when going out on a day trip to the beach or the woods I have had 3 children now and would say that sue and Marie’s childminding are the best I’ve used 😊

Sue has been looking after my son Isaac since June and Isaac clearly enjoys his time there. With plenty of toys and other children to interact with Sue does a great job and always greets us both with a friendly smile. She sends pictures to update me whilst Isaac is there which is always nice to see. Thanks Sue, I've really appreciated all your help 🙏🏻

Sue is absolutely great childminder she been with my daughter livity since September she is very quick and efficient very friendly and livity has gained more mobility in walking and crawling since sue has been childminding livity livity is always happy Sue is great at updating me with livity and keeps the communication going and sends me updates on how my daughter is doing and sending me pictures which I love so I can see her progress too she always comes back with a smile and is laughing all the time I would definitely recommend Sue and Marie to other mother's too Sue has always made sure my daughter is fed had her bottle and is fairly clean thank you sue for all you do for my daughter Livity 😀

I found sue and Marie on this website 3.5 years ago, my Son was 5 when he first started going he’s never attended any childminder setting before apart from nursery so this was all new to him and he gained confidence from day one of being within Sue and Marie’s care.
My son loves attending and treats the surroundings as his own home.
Always have very good communication regarding invoices and care, also get regular pictures of days out and/or house setting.
Love knowing I can leave my Son there whilst I go to work and he has a great time and nothing is ever any trouble.

My Daughter was in the care of Sue and Marie from the age of around 8months and was there until the unfortunate lockdown rules came in!
I would highly recommend their care, they provided a safe, secure, fun learning environment. My daughter loved being in their care and developed a good relationship with them. Nothing was any trouble and that made me feel very at ease and comforatable as a parent leaving my child.

Thank you for your wonderful feed back.Having this makes us both feel appreciated.
I first found Sue and Marie on this website and instantly was amazed by there dedication to their job. They watched my son from 5 months old until he was 1 year and I saw a great deal of development within my son all because of Sue and Marie. They are wonderful childcare providers and have helped me through alot even outside of looking after my son. They are not somoen you just pay you also become friends and feel supported by them I was 17 when they looked after my son and started college and I am so proud of how far my son has come while being with them. If your wanting a childminder then look no further.

My daughter has been with Sue & Marie since she was 7 months old and is due to start full time school this year. I’ve never had any issues and since day one they have made me feel like I’m dropping my baby off with family members. My daughter loves going, always has so much fun. It’s a very relaxed setting and the needs of the children always come first. Highly recommended

Sue and her daughters are fabulous childcare providers, they helped our son who was sometimes unsure of others settle in perfectly with themselves and other children, sue was also able to provide us unsociable hours childcare and our little boy has come on leaps and bounds whilst in her care! Always tells us about his fun days, highly recommended!!
