About Me
PRIMARY HOME SCHOOL TUTOR
I am a bubbly and creative primary school teacher whose main goal in my career is to help children foster a love of learning. I still teach part time in the classroom, but from Easter will be tutoring from my home along side this, helping children in a child friendly setting either 1:1 or in small groups and providing individualised learning plans. My specialism is early reading, writing and phonics- I was Early Years coordinator for multiple years and still find it amazing how children learn so much in a year!
I will be predominantly tutoring and supporting home schooled children during typical school hours (and some hours in the holidays) to begin with. If you are a parent who would like support with the teaching of phonics, reading, writing and/ or maths, please feel free to contact me. My hourly rate varies depending on whether it is a 1:1 or group session and how many hours are booked.
My Experience
I have 15 years teaching experience, teaching all primary year groups from Year R- Year 6 (ages 4-11 years). I have also taught abroad. Previously Early Years Lead.
I am a Mum to two girls.
My Qualifications
Qualified teacher status.
Paediatric first aid trained.
My Availability
Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8am- 4pm. Sessions available are 1- 3 hours.
