Hello! I am 18 years old and I am a part time nanny. I recently finished my level 3 diploma in childcare at college and am looking for more experience of looking after children.
My Experience
As part of my college course I spent a year volunteering at a nursery and a primary school. This really helped me learn about how childcare settings work and allowed me to gain insightful observations of how children develop. I have been a babysitter for over a year on a regular basis and I am currently working as a part time nanny. I also worked in a santas grotto which allowed me to gain confidence interacting with children of many different ages.
My Qualifications
I am fully dbs checked and have my paediatric first aid training. I have completed a level 3 course in childcare. Aswell as this I have completed a prevent awareness course and an introduction to adverse childhood experiences and early trauma online course.
