About Me
I'm a trust worthy, reliable, down to earth 38 year old mum of 4. I have a fun but firm approach and I love providing stimulating activities to help children to develop in all areas. As a mum myself I understand how important it is to find the right person to look after the most precious little people in your life who will care for them the same way you do.
I enjoy being outdoors, visiting playgroups, attending music and movement classes and the local libraries. I like to provide lots of creative opportunities for children to have fun and express themselves.
My Experience
I have over 22 years childcare experience which ranges from day nurseries to Montessori nursery schools, nannying on a permanent basis, adhoc days, weekend solecharge cover whilst parents were away to regular babysitting for families plus the added bonus of being a mummy myself.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ2 in Childcare & Education and have attended numerous day courses over the years on child development.
I also have fantastic references available upon request.
My Availability
I am preferably looking for a term time morning/afternoon position whilst my own children are at school although I understand this may be difficult to find so I'm happy to be flexible and negotiate hours for the right family. I would also be willing to work 1 or 2 days a week but please bear in mind i am not looking for a 40 hour week.
