About Me
Hello, my name is Mandy. I moved over to London from South Africa last year February. I am a qualified teacher and taught in South Africa for 4 years as well as 6 months in Vietnam. I have been teaching in primary schools in London since last year July. I have a passion for working with children and helping them grow into the best person they can be.
My Experience
I taught Grade 4 in South Africa for 4 years. Prior to that, I lived and taught English in Vietnam for 6 months. While I do not have babysitting experience in the UK, I au paired in South Africa for a lovely family for 3 years. I also looked after my nephew before moving to London. I have been supply teaching in London since July 2023 including a long term supply post in Year 1 for 9 months. Now I am back doing supply teaching in primary schools.
My Qualifications
A Bachelor of Education in the intermediate and senior phases (grades 4-9), TEFL certified, child and infant First Aid, CPR and AEG.
