Hello!
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW ARRIVAL! So exciting!
I’m Ali, a qualified midwife and experienced maternity nurse, bringing both medical expertise and compassionate care to families during the crucial early weeks of their baby’s life. With my background in midwifery, I’m uniquely positioned to provide both practical newborn care and professional support for maternal health, offering peace of mind that both mother and baby are in expert hands.
Why choose a midwife-trained maternity nurse?
My medical training ensures I can confidently monitor and address common postnatal issues, such as:
Breastfeeding challenges, including latch issues and milk supply concerns.
Postnatal recovery for mothers, including monitoring for conditions like mastitis, wound healing (C-section or perineal), and general well-being.
Newborn health issues, such as jaundice, colic, reflux, tongue tie or weight gain monitoring.
I combine this medical expertise with a warm, nurturing approach to help parents feel supported, informed, and confident as they navigate early parenthood.
What I offer:
Medical insight into maternal and newborn health, with the ability to identify and address potential concerns early.
Hands-on care for your baby, including bathing, feeding, settling, and sleep support.
Gentle guidance on breastfeeding or formula feeding, tailored to your family’s needs.
Night care to ensure you get much-needed rest.
Establishing personalised sleep and feeding routines for a smoother transition to parenthood.
Bottle preparation, sterilisation, and support with expressing milk.
Education on newborn safety, hygiene, and handling.
Emotional support for mothers and families adjusting to their new role.
Proxy parenting for travel or special circumstances.
My experience:
I’ve worked with families across the UK, Europe, and America in both private and high-profile homes. My expertise extends to newborn twins and triplets, ensuring each baby—and parent—receives individualised care.
What sets me apart:
Certified midwife with extensive training in newborn and maternal care.
