My Experience

I have over 20 years experience in childcare in lots of different forms. I started in a nursery in 2000 with 2-3 year olds and then in the baby room which I loved. I moved on to work for a childminder and ran the baby room.
Seeking a little adventure, I moved to Gibraltar to work as a mother’s help for year old triplets and then sole charge for twin boys in Spain.
Returning back to the UK I nannied sole charge for two families with children from the age of 1-9 years.
I then had my first child and decided to set up a childminding business which I ran for just over a year, caring for three children who were 8, 12, and 14 months!
After I had my second child I decided to train as a teaching assistant and have worked in the same primary school in Bath for 9 years supporting children with special needs and learning difficulties from ages 5-11 years. I also assist with groups in Forest School.
Now my children are a bit older I would like to work for families again in the school holidays. I also now would consider term time work on Wed, Thurs or Friday.

My Qualifications

NVQ 3 childcare and education
NVQ 3 supporting teachers in school
Paediatric first aid 2024

My Availability

Possible hours on Wed/ Thurs or Friday 2-3 hours a day if local to me.
Adhoc days on the weekends or holidays
