I am a mum of two boys, 16 and 9, and also a dog and cat!. I have Been working with children for 14 years in various roles and continually updated my knowledge and education.
My Experience
I started out as a foster registered childminder when my son was young, I did that for 4 years then took a break to have my other son. I went back to childminding for 3 years then got a temporary position in a private nursery for 3month-5ys. I then got a position as a paediatric healthcare assistant where I stayed for 5 years, gaining extensive knowledge in all ages, and those with disabilities from physical to mental to behavioural. I went back to university to complete my degree in early years education and for the past year I have been working in a pre school setting. I have a current DBS and just renewed my first aid and safeguarding training, and continually going to seminars and conferences to keep up to date with the EFFS and education sector.
