My Summary

My Experience

I have been surrounded by childcare since I was eight years old when my mother began childminding. Since then, I have loved helping her with daily tasks, playtime and activity planning. Having done a 2-year Level 3 Childcare and Education course in college, I am a qualified early years educator and have lots of experience working with children and studying early development. As part of this course, I completed 750 hours of placement in both a preschool and a primary school (taking care of children aged 6 months - 5 years as well as reception-aged children). This invaluable experience solidified my desire to pursue a career in education as I absolutely loved getting to know the children in the settings, helping them learn and nurturing their individuality. I have recently graduated from the University of Gloucestershire with qualified teacher status, where I learnt lots more about how to effectively educate children and have put many strategies to use in my long-term placement with year 2, 3 and 5 classes. I pride myself on having received positive feedback throughout my education and teacher training about my commitment to positive behaviour management, maintaining good relationships, building professional partnerships and effective teaching. I have had a wonderful time building meaningful relationships with the children I have worked with and am always excited to continue to build experience through babysitting and tutoring.

I have completed training for first aid, safeguarding, Prevent, ACEs and Forest schooling.

As for paid employment, I worked in a retail role for 2 years where I used organisation, time-management, communication and customer service skills to ensure I fulfilled all assigned tasks and responsibilities to a high standard and left customers satisfied with their shopping experience.

I have also previously worked as a primary maths tutor, creating and teaching personalised maths lessons.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Tutoring from £30.00 per hour

For babysitting, I am open to discussing fair fees, taking into consideration the number of children and expected responsibilities.

For tutoring, I am happy to discuss fees, however my pricing does reflect the fact that I will personally make resources and plan unique lessons for the children I tutor, which takes more time outside of my paid hours.
