About Me
Hi, my name is Afry, and I run HomeKidz ChildCare from my home in Carshalton, Surrey. I am an Ofsted-registered childminder with over 12 years of experience in early childhood education. I hold a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education from Hong Kong Baptist University, equivalent to RQF Level 6 in the UK. As a mother of three boys, I bring both professional knowledge and personal experience to my childcare service.
At HomeKidz ChildCare, I create a warm, home-like environment where children feel safe, happy, and inspired to explore. I focus on meeting each child's unique needs through creative play, engaging learning activities, and healthy routines. My home includes a fully stocked toy room with toys for all ages and a spacious garden that offers children plenty of outdoor space to play and explore freely.
I am registered under the Government Tax-Free Childcare scheme. I also provide school pick-up and drop-off services for Woodfield Primary School.
While I primarily communicate in English with children and parents, I am fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. For families interested, I am happy to incorporate Cantonese or Mandarin language learning into our activities, helping children develop their linguistic skills in a fun and natural way.
My Experience
I have over 12 years of experience as an early childhood practitioner and am also a mother of three children. From newborns to young children, I have gained hands-on experience in understanding and supporting their growth. I enjoy chatting with children like friends, fostering good manners and positive values with confidence.
My Qualifications
I am a fully registered Ofsted childminder with a strong educational background and professional training. I hold a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education from Hong Kong Baptist University, which is equivalent to RQF Level 6 in the UK. I am also certified in Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, and Food Allergen Awareness. Additionally, I have completed professional development courses in safeguarding children.
My Availability
I offer care throughout the year. HomeKidz ChildCare operates from 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday, and I am flexible to accommodate parents' needs. I currently have spaces available for pick-ups and drop-offs for children attending Woodfield Primary School.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
Childminding from £7 per hour, including all meals and snacks.
I also offer a full-day service at £60.00 per day.
