My name is Bridget, I am born and raised in Vancouver, Canada and have relocated to London, UK on a Youth Mobility Scheme Visa! Some of my hobbies include baking, hiking and exploring the city. I speak English and have 11 years of education in French.
My Experience
In Canada I took a 2.5 year diploma in Early childhood education with added certifications in special Education Training.
I worked at 3 centres for practicum training, learning from experienced educators.
I then joined a licensed childcare facility in Vancouver, Canada for 4 years total. I worked in their infant toddler rooms, opened and managed 2, 3 to 5 age classrooms.
I also worked as a special needs aid for 2 children with non verbal autism.
Since moving to London I’ve been extremely lucky to nanny for an amazing family for the last 1.5 years in Clapham. Their children are now 4 and 6 years old. My duties include:
Organizing the children’s school plans/curriculum
Washing and ironing
Aid with homework
Making and tracking all necessary appointments
Cooking all healthy meals
Grocery shopping
Bath/bed times
School pick ups/drop-offs
Organizing all extra curricular activities
Creating fun activities for half terms
