I come from a family of 4 being the eldest of 2. I have a younger brother.
I have always loved children, I am very family orientated.
Most of my friends have children and due to my warming nature, I play a significant role in their lives. I am a fantastic cook which comes into play because who doesn't love a good home-cooked meal?! I have been an au pair for over 5 years caring for a beautiful baby girl up until her school years and still till today. I grew up in an organized household guided by morals and principles in which has made me the young woman I am today. Children always warm to me and I love playing a part in their growth and development. I am currently trying to find the perfect career path for myself and I am not yet ready for children myself I dream of a big family in the future but while I wait I feel I have so much love to share and what better way to share it than with the purest forms of humans. I have a car and a license with 0 points. I am creative and proactive. I am caring and nurturing and able to understand what a child needs.
My Experience
I was an au pair for a lovely baby girl for over 5 years. This included but was not limited to, baby care, feeding, changing, rocking to sleep, bathing, nappy changing, potty training, teaching, taking to nursery and picking up, and overall assisting with child development and learning. We went on lots of different trips, both educational and fun. This was the most rewarding time of my life. I am a fantastic cook. I have a level 2 in food hygiene and safety. I can cook and bake almost anything which is definitely one of my top traits.
I am incredibly tidy and organized I cannot work amongst the mess, and whenever I have a child in my care this still applies. Lastly, I am always commented on for my calm and nurturing nature, I love to love I am a Pisces and it is just in my nature.
The activities I would do with the children would be individual to the child, it may include but not be limited to, parks, museums, drawing, spelling, handwriting, cooking, baking, and sometimes the best activities are created on the spot. I love working with children because they are just so pure, hungry to learn and develop, and seeing a child grow and learn, blossoming as they go along is probably one of the most rewarding things in life especially knowing that you played a part in that. I still have contact with all the children I have cared for I still have contact with and see as the bond has been strong. I also have 3 Godchildren which is just as good as having 3 of my own.
