My Summary

My Experience

For the past 10 months I have been working with a family in Hamstead, taking care of their 1 year old son and 3 year old daughter. I have also previously worked as an au pair abroad in Italy (3 months) and Australia (10 months). Both involved the care of 2 children aged 4-6. Overall, my duties included: school pickup, organising activities, healthy food preparation, school work, running errands, laundry, cleaning and arranging playdates. I would try to make to make everyday different and exciting for the children. Some examples include: creating theatre performances, yoga, science experiments, library trips, days out to museums and botanical gardens I consider myself a creative individual so would encourage this in the children like creating performances, painting and crafting.
It was an invaluable experience to adjust to differing cultures and immersing myself within the family unit.
I am happy working with parents to create timetables and establish routines to promote their wellbeing and happiness.
Over the years I have looking after a number of children, ages ranging from 0-10. Predominately, a newborn and 3 year old autistic child. Since he was mostly non-verbal and I have a passion to expand my makaton/sign language knowledge I often utilised this with him. I am therefore confident in communicating and using play to suit your child's needs and developmental stage.

My Qualifications

DBS checked and CPR trained on my nursing course. I have just graduated with a First Class Honours (BSc) degree in paediatric nursing. I have completed an online paediatric first aid training.

My Availability

I qualified as a paediatric nurse last year so am now going to work withinCAMHS job. I am moving to St Albans on the 1st December and would love a temporary nanny position for the month(flexible hours)

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

£15 an hour
