About Me
I am a Colombian 20 year old studying politics at The University of Edinburgh. I am looking forward to enhancing my work experience in a field that will allow me to profit from my child caring abilities and overall love for children. I am a responsible, caring and trustworthy student; I am very academically driven and disciplined, as well as patient and compassionate. I have proficiency in three different languages (Spanish, English and French), I have excellent communication skills and am a keen and enthusiastic leader.
My Experience
I have never worked formally as a babysitter, but as the eldest of two sisters and 4 cousins, I have dealt with babies and children my whole life. I have always been in charge of looking after the younger kids in my family, which involved changing diapers, cooking meals, helping with homework and picking them up from school. I have developed a special sensitivity for children through the years, being given the responsibility of being the adult of the family from a very young age. I love children, and consider myself to be a great fit for a babysitting job in which patience, responsibility, compassion and discipline are needed.
My Qualifications
I have graduated highscool and am currently in my second year of university. I have first aid training and proficiency in Spanish, English and French.
My Availability
I am a student, so my availability will depend on my courses this semester. However, I assume I will be available during evenings and afternoons, and maybe some mornings as well. If you are interested, we can sort out the details. However, I am very flexible and am happy to make my schedule around my work times.
