About Me
Hi, I am Beckie, mum to three boys (17,14 and 8) I am an Ofsted registered Childminder located in between Elmers end and Eden Park. I offer a safe nurturing home from home environment. I currently have full or part time vacancies for September 2025 as the twins that I currently look after will be starting school. I have looked after them since they were 10 months old. ?
I work in partnership with parents and my communication is excellent. Parents are kept fully updated on their child’s progress and development and also activities on a day-to-day basis with photos and diaries.
We attend local playgroups where the children make friends and develop their social and communication skills. We often have picnics and play at the many local parks close by too.
Children learn through play and we have lots of fun with messy craft including Play-Doh, moon sand, painting and baking. Children have access to free play, choosing their favourite Paw Patrol or Playmobil toys too. We are also very musical and have a lot of singsong time, dancing and playing with instruments.
I love looking after children and it shows as I’m naturally caring, kind and patient. Children in my care often do not want to go home at the end of the day!

My daughter Emi has been with Becky since 7 months, previously Emi was refused by an other childminder as the childminder could not handle her nap. I blame myself Emi sleeps only in a buggy or carrier and cannot put her down in a cot but Becky is amazing, Becky always manage to let her have a nap.
She is attentive and caring and kind person who always listen to children and parents and meet their needs. Becky also send us an update what Emi is enjoying during the day time which is really lovely!
Becky crams lots of activities and take children out to playgroups and parks whether possible. Emi is such an active and inquisitive baby who enjoys Becky’s setting so much. Emi is always delighted to go to Becky’s with smile and love playing with other children. Becky has great relationships with children and children loves her.
Becky is just wonderful and 100% recommend her with confidence!!

I highly recommend Rebecca as a childminder, she has looked after my 17 month old daughter for the last few months absolutely beautifully! Sadly we are now moving and will be too far away.
Rebecca is very warm and friendly and my daughter bonded with her so quickly, which was such a relief to me as an anxious mother going back to work. Rebecca provides a lovely family environment for the children, with plenty of toys, and ensures there is a good balance of activities, as well as time outside, which my daughter loves. Rebecca provides a lovely and well balanced variety of meals and snacks for the children and I have been impressed with how she has managed to get my daughter to eat things we have not managed to get her to have at home!
The communication with Rebecca has always been very easy and regular. It really brightens my day when she sends photos of my daughter having fun. And I love reading her notebook in the evening to learn about her day.
We are eternally grateful to Rebecca for taking such good care of our little one and will miss her when we move.
