About Me

I have been working with children since 1998, both in Australia and the UK, and I am passionate about caring for and educating young children.

I have worked in various settings, from formal/informal households and nurseries, as an Early Childhood Educator and Manny from the ages of six months to 12 years.

My varied experiences demonstrate my flexibility and adaptability and have seen me build lasting and trusting relationships with children and families.

I am determined to protect the emotional, physical and educational well-being of the children I care for while providing them with an exceptional role model, educator and carer.

My passion revolves around cultivating a child’s inherent aptitude toward creative learning and exploration; this allows me to work on constructing the strong foundations required to support the future dreams and ambitions of my charges.

I have extensive knowledge of the British education system. I am confident in my abilities to teach children fun and stimulating experiences, develop their interests and support individual needs and strive for them to reach their potential.

As part of my role as a manny, I have supported children through 7/8/ plus entrance exams with success.

The balance I have of being a Manny/Educator is simply superb. I can be a playmate and run around in a park, play dress ups or plan activities, games and parties with the parents, and equally, I can offer structure and support with learning and do ‘sit down’ formal lessons as the children require due to school work and exam preparation.

I am committed to building trusting and lasting relationships with families and have a passion for child development matters and providing the highest level of care and support for children through creating a secure and lasting bond.

I am very confident and, as such, will never be afraid to participate in a child’s world; I firmly believe that involvement is the key attribute to being a successful educator.
