?When my sister returned to night-shift work, I became the primary daytime carer for my nephew. I regularly picked him up from her home, took him to the park, prepared meals, engaged him in play, and often cared for him overnight when needed.?During the COVID pandemic, I looked after him every weekday (Monday to Friday) for approximately 7 months while my sister worked full-time on the front line. This included providing full-time care, structuring his day with educational and fun activities, supporting his emotional wellbeing, and ensuring he stayed happy and healthy during a difficult time.?To this day, I remain closely involved in his life—taking him to weekly swimming lessons, on long walks, and even on runs with me. No qualifications but happy to get a DBS if needed. Also would consider doing any course if the family would prefer.
My Availability
Currently working for a Recruitment company so have a 4 week notice. Available on weekends for part time jobs.
