I am an adventurous, kind and hard working individual. I love travelling and trying new things, with particular emphasis on extreme adventure.
I am currently in my fourth year of teaching, having taught in Bradford for three years whilst completing my PGDE with Teach First and my Masters in Educational Leadership. I am now based in Twickenham as a Geography teacher and Duke of Edinburgh Manager, but will be leaving at the end of July. I love teaching, but I am now looking at pastures new and am keen to start tutoring both as after school support and home schooling. Alongside tutoring, I am also happy to offer childminding services, both during the day and in the evenings. In addition, I am a qualified rugby and tennis coach, so would be available to provide coaching sessions as well.
My Experience
I have worked with children for many years, starting as a tennis coach assistant at the age of 16. I then worked as a tutor and teaching assistant, before commencing the Teach First program. During the Teach First program, I worked at a school in Bradford as a Humanities (Geography and History)Teacher and Assistant Head of Year. In my third year with Teach First, I completed my masters in Educational Leadership which helped to hone my ability to manage myself, the classroom and those around me. In the last year, I have been working as Geography Teacher, alongside managing Duke of Edinburgh at my school.
