Hello. Lovely to meet you, I'm Kirstee.
During term time I work at a special needs school running 1:1 and small group interventions for children with autism, whilst also training to become an arts psychotherapist.
I'm throughly believe in the power of the arts and play in developing healthy, happy children into well rounded adults.
I can also offer tutoring in the arts, humanities - including theology and philosophy, and mindfulness and meditation techniques. Regarding the former, I would work from a child centered curriculum, however if there are specific things you would like me to focus on let me know.
I've had first aid training, can use makaton and some sign supported English, and feel confident with most SEN needs, send me a message and let's see if I would be the right fit to support your little one and you. :)
My Experience
I have nannies for a 2 year old child with ESL, for a 9 year old boy with autism and global developmental delay, and for a six year old boy with torrettes syndrome and ADHD.
I currently work in an autism specialist school supporting children with different needs between the ages of 5 and 19.
I completed a placement at a mainstream primary school running art psychotherapy interventions with children aged between 5 and 11.

BA Hons fine art
A level health and social care
A level psychology
A level human biology
A level Archaeology
GCSEs in English Lit. and Lang., Maths and the Sciences etc
My Availability
I am available during the South Gloustershire half terms and summer holidays.
I can make availability to meet with you and the little ones outside of the holidays to help them start feeling comfortable if that is wanted.
