My Summary
About Me
I’m a qualified Early Years Educator with over 3.5 years of experience working in nursery settings, and I absolutely love what I do. Working with children brings me, joy—I genuinely believe every child is unique, and I take pride in helping them grow, learn, and shine in their own way.
During my time in nurseries, I’ve worked closely with the EYFS curriculum, planning and delivering fun, engaging activities that support children’s development across all areas. I’ve gained a strong understanding of how to adapt to each child’s individual needs, and I’ve learned the importance of patience, creativity, and consistency in providing quality care.
I live in London with my mum, two younger brothers, and my grandma. Growing up in a busy, loving household has taught me how to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and always find time for laughter—and these qualities definitely come in handy when caring for children!
I’ve completed training in Pediatric First Aid, Fire Marshall procedures, Safeguarding, Health and Safety, and Food Hygiene, so families can feel confident that their little ones are in safe hands.
I’m now looking to bring my nursery experience into a nannying role where I can offer more one-on-one care, build strong relationships with families, and continue doing what I love most—supporting children as they learn and grow. I'm enthusiastic, reliable, and always happy to help create a warm, fun, and supportive environment for children.
My Experience
I’ve had the pleasure of working with children aged 6 months to 5 years, supporting their learning and development during those all-important early years. I’ve worked in two different nursery settings, each giving me valuable experience with a wide range of ages, routines, and developmental stages.
Nursery One
At my first nursery, I spent 2.5 years working full-time with children aged 6 months to 5 years. This is where I built a strong foundation in early years education. My responsibilities included:
Planning and leading engaging, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework
Supporting children’s social, emotional, and physical development
Helping with daily routines including meal and nap times
Observing and tracking children’s progress to support learning outcomes
Building warm, positive relationships with children and their families
Working collaboratively with a team to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
Nursery Two
In my second nursery role, I worked with children aged 6 months to 6 years, caring for a slightly wider age range. I worked full-time from 7am to 6pm, giving me lots of hands-on experience with morning and evening routines. My responsibilities included:
Planning creative and interactive learning experiences tailored to individual needs
Supporting smooth transitions for children moving between rooms or settling in
Encouraging independence in self-care routines like toileting, dressing, and eating
Contributing to assessments and planning as part of a supportive team
Promoting communication and language through storytelling, conversation, and play
Creating a positive, nurturing environment where children felt confident and secure
Both roles have shaped me into a calm, confident, and caring practitioner who understands the importance of flexibility, routine, and fun in a child’s day.
