My Summary

My Experience

I have over 11 years experience within childcare. After studying I began working at a preschool with children aged 2-4 years. I then went on to work at a day nursery with children ages 6months-4years. After 2 years at the nursery I decided it was time for a change and gave notice to leave, before leaving I was approached by parents at the nursery asking if they could hire me as a nanny 3 days a week as they were so happy with the bond I shared with their 7 month old twin girls. I agreed and began to work with the family for just under 3 years as they moved out of London. After this I then began my career I am currently in now- working in a primary school as a learning support assistant, qualified first aider and ELSA (4years-current). My role is working with children who may have challenges accessing the curriculum without support. I work alongside the classroom teacher to ensure things are put in place to ensure they can access all parts of the curriculum. I have worked with children with autism and adhd whilst working at this school and feel I have picked up many useful tools over the years. I also work as an ELSA (emotional literally support assistant). My role is to support children’s emotional well being and doing this through Literacy, so we play different adult led games which focuses on the specific area the child may need support in eg-making friends, home life, maintaining positive relations and routines, the list is endless. I really enjoy my role and feel the children have really benefited. I am currently on summer break for 6 weeks so have some free time.

CACHE level 2 childcare
CACHE level 3 childcare
Diploma level 3 health and social care
PAEDIATRIC FIRST AIDER (expires 2025)

I am available most days as I am off for 6 weeks holiday.
