Hello, my name is Nadifa thanks for taking the time to look at my profile. I am a caring individual, that loves looking after children.
My experience with children between the ages of toddlers to 12+ comes from caring for my siblings and cousins. As one of the eldest in the family the responsibility to baby sit was mine, including: making up fun games and activities to keep the children entertained, helping out with homework and making food and light snacks. I have also been a nanny before with tasks like homework help, school drop off and pickups.
During my time volunteering, I did guided reading with children up to 14 years old and helped many overcome the idea that reading was boring or hard, when instead all that was needed was fun and magic.
My degree choice in education was influenced a lot by how I saw the world growing up, so helping children navigate this is a big passion of mine.

Nadifa looked after my 5 year old son for several weeks (short term as she had a small window period). She picked in up from school, took him to an activity or park and then home. She was reliable and trust worthy and kind and good natured. She quickly established an excellent rapport with my son and played well with him as well S helped with his reading. I would highly recommend her and use her again.
