About Me
Current PhD candidate focusing on Machine Learning, Mathematical Finance and Game Theory for research, offering private tutoring services for year 1 to year 11. I enjoy interacting with young people and my years of experience has given me the opportunity to truly tailor my teaching to ensure information presented to them is digestible. I was previously a Mathematics teaching and learning support assistant in a well-regarded secondary school ranked "outstanding" by Ofsted in Westminster, London. I am also a competitive chess player and have taken part in a National Championship event in Singapore while I was living there. Additionally, in my schooling years in Singapore, I have achieved distinctions in mathematics and also won a Silver in an Australian Maths Competition organised by the University of New South Wales when I was in Year 9.
I strongly believe chess instills important skills (such as pattern recognition and logical reasoning) in students and thus would be happy to teach them as well.

My Experience
I have turtlrey year 1 to year 11 students previously and have 8 years of tutoring experience. I also have an undergraduate student whom I tutor weekly in Economics and an A Level student whom I tutor Further Maths weekly. Besides Mathematics, I teach Economics and Statistics as well.
My Qualifications
First Class Honours Economics graduate and current MRes/PhD candidate with passed DBS check.
My Availability
I am tutoring full-time this summer and my hours are from 8am to 9pm. Flexible arrangements can be made.
