Hi! I’m Rebecca, but I go by Bex :) I’ve just finished a qualification at college in HNC Healthcare Practice, and I’m also actively working on the NHS Nursing Auxiliary Bank which means I work with people of many different abilities, including children, those with special needs and mental health conditions. I have been a member of the PVG Disclosure Scheme for a while now and hold a full UK driving license. I am a fun, bubbly and talkative person that absolutely loves carrying out activities, but know when to be firm whilst still ensuring I am gentle with children. My Experience
As previously mentioned, my formal experience includes working within children wards at the hospital and making sure that child patients are put at ease and feel safe and comfortable in my care. I also have informal experience in babysitting as I have 4 younger siblings whom I look after on many occasions.
My Qualifications
I hold a HNC in Healthcare Practice which included many different units, such as Psychology, Human Body in Health and Illness, and Safe Working Practice.
Previous to this course, I completed my level 5 at college in Health and Social Care.
I also hold seven National 5 Qualifications from secondary school in Art & Design, English, Chemistry, Administration & IT, Business Management, Mathematics and Biology at grades AAAAABB
I have done my Moving and Handling training and also hold my drivers license.
My Availability
I am available at all times of the week as my shifts are if and when needed - I book them as I go! So if I am needed for babysitting, it would be great to know even a couple of days in advance :)
