My Experience

I am currently taking a break in between qualifying from my Midwifery degree in August and starting my career as a midwife in January. I am looking for babysitting jobs in the meanwhile.

As well as the last three years of midwifery experience, I have had lots and varied child care experience. I have been a nanny for a family in Oxford for over a year, worked as a nursery practitioner at Little Troopers Day Nursery in Oxford, worked as a teaching assistant for Year 1 and Reception at Dean Close Preparatory School, worked with ‘Care for Children’ a charity that operates in Asia to place orphans into good, local families, as an alternative to institutional care, baby-sitting for a number of families over the years, child-minder for triplets in my gap year, worked in a Special Educational Needs school in Beijing during my summer holidays, worked for a company 'Education First' which is the largest international education programme as an activity leader for a group of children on exchange in Oxford. I have been CRB checked, and I am First Aid trained. I am very enthusiastic and energetic with children, and have no problem quickly bonding, and then establishing a healthy relationship to create a secure and nurturing environment wherever possible.

My requested wage varies depending on type of hours and amount/age of children. I am very flexible and fees can be negotiated within reason.
