My Requirements

My children were blessed to attend the Brighton Steiner school from age 2 onwards however this shut due to financial issues in March 2024.

We have now moved to home education.

We are a neurodivergent household but as we are very open and affirming it is well managed and we are all capable of communicating our needs effectively (most of the time!). My two youngest are also Type 1 diabetic but again they self manage and I can remote manage as apps enable me to see their levels at all times.

As I am also ND I need some breathing space each morning before heading into home ed so am looking for 3.5-4hrs per morning Mon-Thurs from 7:30/8am-11.30am at my home. I would be out of the house and we would start home ed after I return for which I will be responsible for. The children may not be awake on arrival.

During the time I would be looking for someone to:

Prepare a healthy breakfast and prepping the childrens lunches in advance.

Support the children with their morning routine and chores - eg brushing teeth, shower if needed, tidying their bedroom, doing their nervous system regulation exercises, morning reading and so on. However they all need some time to just chill out before I return too as I will then do home ed with them for the rest of the day - this can be on screens.

Do some light housework eg emptying and refilling the dishwasher, hanging out laundry and generally keeping on top of the downstairs spaces.

My eldest daughter may occasionally be home but will keep herself to herself.
