About Me

Hi, I'm Abena, I'm 18 and will be moving to Nottingham in September for university. I enjoy being creative and spend my free time writing and learning languages.

My Experience

I enjoy looking after kids and would say that I am very interactive and know how to keep them engaged. I grew up looking after children in my family and family friends' kids. Over the past couple of years I have helped organise Christmas, Easter and Summer camps for young children from disadvantaged backgrounds. This involved organising fun activities for the children that also incorporated an element of education such as science.
I've also done work experience at a primary school where I worked with children with different personalities and learned to get the best out of them and how to make them comfortable around me.
