About Me
I am a qualified maths teacher and I have been teaching maths for 12 years. My experience includes Mathematics Leadership in several secondary schools.
I have been tutoring for many years and have a great and proven record of results at KS3, GCSE, A level Maths (all exam boards). I have a working knowledge of the national curriculum and have designed maths curricula at schools. I have experience in working with students with different abilities, learning needs, those who attend private, grammar schools, mainstream and alternative provisions.
I enjoy providing my clients with a strong platform to excel in any positive endeavour that they wish to take. Whether you are younger or older, with additional support you can reach your end goals and I`d be glad to provide you with that strong support during your journey! :)
My Experience
I have been teaching maths for 12 years. I have taught a range of students from the students who needs of support because they may have a SEND need or is disengaged with school to student who are the most able. I really enjoy maths and love to share this passion for it with the students I work with. I am also aware that there are students that are looking to pass maths to gain entry to future courses; I have experience in this also. Problem solving is where students usually trip up on. Being able to identify topics in a multi-step question requires skills that the students must develop. I have experience in teaching with AQA, Edexcel and OCR exam boards.
