I am a friendly, trustworthy, and creative individual with a deep passion for working with children and a wealth of childcare experience. Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated responsibility, reliability, and the ability to deliver high-quality childcare in a nurturing and engaging way.
My journey began in the performing arts sector, where I spent several years running my own dance, performing arts, and activity classes for children. This creative foundation continues to inspire my approach to childcare. Whether I’m setting up imaginative learning invitations, leading a fun movement session, or perfecting the art of pretend tea parties, I love making every activity meaningful and enjoyable for the children I care for.
I hold both a Level 3 Childcare qualification and a Level 4 Advanced Early Years Practitioner qualification, as well as several CPD certifications, including Early Phonics, Communication and Language Intervention, Speech and Language Development, Makaton, Hygge-inspired learning, and Forest Kindergarten Leadership. Additionally, I am a registered OFSTED nanny, which ensures peace of mind for the families I work with.
My warm, patient nature and commitment to excellence are at the heart of everything I do. I currently work with some wonderful families as a nanny thus, I am currently only available for ad hoc childcare, including occasional evening and weekend babysitting.
My Experience
Working with children has always been my passion, and I am dedicated to creating enriching and nurturing environments for the children in my care. With a career entirely devoted to childcare, I hold both a Level 3 Childcare qualification and a Level 4 Advanced Early Years Practitioner qualification.
My experience spans various settings within the Early Years sector, including day nurseries and maintained nursery schools. I have worked across all age groups, from baby rooms to toddler rooms and preschool, progressing from Nursery Nurse to Room Leader and even stepping into the role of Deputy Manager.
In addition to my nursery experience, I have extensive hands-on expertise as a nanny and babysitter for numerous families, both independently and through agencies. I have also provided specialised services such as travel nannying, wedding childcare, and event childcare. Currently, I co-run a small event childcare business with my sister, which allows me to combine my skills and childcare expertise in unique and exciting ways.
Over the years, I have worked with children of all ages, giving me a deep understanding of child development and the ability to tailor activities to suit their individual needs, ages, and stages of development. Whether it’s exploring the great outdoors, embarking on imaginative adventures, or supporting learning through play, I approach every day with enthusiasm and creativity.
While I am always ready to join in outdoor play and adventures, I do not offer driving as part of my services.
My Qualifications
I hold both my Level 3 Childcare qualification and Level 4 Advanced Early years Practitioner qualification. As necessary for all roles I have undertook, I hold all relevant qualifications, a full DBS check, paediatric first aid qualification, food hygiene, Safeguarding, Manual handling/Health and safety certificates and have undertook training in many relevant areas such as early phonics, communication and language intervention, speech and language, Makaton, HYGGE and learning through play!
