About Me

I am mum to my two daughters and a qualified Primary Teacher. I have always loved being around children, my mum was a foster carer so i was brought up around children from newborn to school age and knew from a young age I wanted to continue to work with children so pursued my career in Teaching.

I am a creative person, I currently have a part time cake decorating business as I love making models and creating art through cakes! I have always loved doing art and craft including painting, drawing and play dough with my own children.

I am an active person, I love to go for walks with my dog and my girls. I was part of a swimming club prior to starting university and I love trampolining.

My Experience

Before starting University I gained my swimming teacher qualifications due to my love of swimming and having been part of a swimming club until I left for university. I worked as a 1:1 swimming instructor for children aged 3-5.
During one of the Summer breaks from University I worked for Camp Beaumont at a Summer Day Camp, working with children from 4 years old.
My love for being around and working with children led me to qualify as a primary school teacher and I have now been teaching for 13 years, becoming part time after returning to work in 2015 after having my first daughter.

My Qualifications

I am a qualified Primary School Teacher. I have taught all ages up to year 5 however most of my experience has been with key stage 1, mainly year 1 and I have worked in EYFS for the last two years.

My Availability

I will be available 2 to 3 days per week so would love a part time nanny job.I am flexibile on which days I am able to work.
