My Summary

My Experience

I grew up surrounded by young children, including my own nannies' children as they brought them to work. I also had regular contact with small cousins, and was often asked to babysit them. Throughout school I also babysat for older children. Once I left school, I took a gap year and went to Australia where I was an au pair for 9 months to two year-old twin boys where I had sole responsibility for them during the days they weren't at day care. On the days they were at day care, I looked after another 2 year-old girl and her 4 year-old sister when she came back from kindergarten. In Australia I also babysat for friends of the family, some evenings, with children ranging from new born to 3.

My Qualifications

I undertook a children's first aid course. I also have a BSc (Hons) in Criminology from Cardiff University and have my silver Duke of Edinburgh award. I am passionate about cooking and baking, I have done a cookery course and have started a small bakery business selling custom decorated iced biscuits and NYC style cookies.
