I have always had a genuine passion for working with children since I was young. I am an experienced teacher (23 years), tutor and nanny who is fun, friendly, kind, patient, organised, creative and caring.
I have excellent communication skills, am very thoughtful, a great listener and I am able to create strong relationships with children quickly. I enjoy planning and being organised and know exactly how to help your child thrive, meet their developmental milestones and be happy. I believe that good communication is the key to providing the best care for your child/ren and together we can discuss your needs and requirements and how they can be best met. I believe in calm discussions when a child is upset or doing something that isn't safe. I don't shout but de-escalate the situation through being calm and helping the child to self regulate.
I have adult daughters of my own now and I enjoy singing and performing with Rock Choir, watching films and spending time with friends in my spare time. I have a car and am a safe driver.
My Experience
I have over 30 years experience with working with children, in a range of roles including nanny, teacher, tutor and babysitter. I have worked with children from newborn to 13 years. I have a secure knowledge of first aid, and have worked with many children who have SEN/neurodivergent. I have experience in dance, drama, music, and French. I also teach Maths and English lessons as a tutor.
My Qualifications
I have a BA Hons degree in teaching. I have 10 GCSE's, including one in childcare, my First Aid certificate has recently expired, however I am able to get another if required.
My Availability
I currently work part time with adults who are sight impaired, but ideally am looking for full time work or can fill some gaps in between my other job. Message me with your requirements as my hours are not necessarily what is displayed and I may be able to be more flexible.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
My fees vary depending on how many children there are. A minimum of £14 ph.
