Experienced nanny
Seeking a 35-40 hours per week nanny position, 3 or 4 days .
Several excellent references will be available upon request. You are welcome to contact recent families I have cared for.
I’m in my mid 40’s, I’ve worked with children continually for 28 years.
As a childcare professional I’ve looked after many children, some of these families stayed with me for many years and it’s been a pleasure to have them as a young baby or toddler and watch them grow up and thrive within my care. I have built strong relationships with the children and their families and many, we keep in touch years later.
I am patient, calm and positive but can set boundaries when necessary. I encourage children to grow up with good manners, to be helpful at home, kind to others and to learn all the skills needed to be a competent, capable individual ready for school and to make good positive friendships with others.
I’m confident to plan the children’s day, to fit in with their current routine and needs either independently or with your guidance. It’s important we work together as a team so the children are supported and we give them stability and consistency.
I will ensure your children have a variety of activities to engage in, planned outings, plenty of fresh air and physical play, social meets with other children and time at home to play/ relax/ read books or be creative. Cooking lessons and doing lots of arts and crafts with the children are my passion. I’ve a wealth of experience in finding fun things to.
I am happy to do light child related household chores, ie children’s laundry, tidying of children’s rooms, uniform/school shoe shopping, haircuts and picking up groceries.
I enjoy cooking for the children and am confident to cook healthy meals and if age appropriate, engage the children in preparing meals and baking.
I can register as an ofsted registered nanny should you wish me to accept government childcare funding.
We can discuss this further, along with contracts ( a company such as nanny tax would be required to assist with payments)
My Experience
Sole charge childcare in different settings and recently as a sole charge nanny . I’ve worked with numerous families over 28 years, including an abundance of special need’s experience, I have also worked in schools/nursery and as a childminder for many years .
I’ve cared for children from newborn up to age 11 within my career and also raised two children of my own who are both now in university/ further education of which I’m very proud of.
My Qualifications
Diploma level 3 in home based childcare
12 hour paediatric first aid updated October 2023.
Training in EYFS, health and safety and safeguarding children,
Enhanced DBS check (update service)
Full clean driving licence
Car insured for business use
