My Summary
About Me
I am highly motivated and conscientious person who is presentable, productive, hardworking and enthusiastic individual who relishes new challenges. I am an excellent communicator at all levels with a commitment to and pride in all works undertaken.
I completed my undergraduate degree course, BA to Primary Teaching, which I successfully combined with other commitments showing myself to be self-motivated, organised and capable of working under pressure. I have worked in classrooms as a teaching assistant, SEN teaching assistant and also as a one to one SEN support in primary schools in inner city schools as well as those in more rural locations. During my teacher training I adapted my teaching styles to suit the needs of diverse groups of children.
I am applying for a Nanny position as I have very much enjoyed and found satisfying the experiences I have had working with SEN children in my life so far.
I feel that becoming a SEN Nanny will fulfil my dream of being able to aid these children in learning things as well as well as looking after them and caring for them.
I extremely love being able to interact with these children and finding out about how they see things. I thoroughly enjoy caring for them and also answering their questions as by doing so I am helping them develop their confidence and self esteem.
I have had a lot of experience of working with children during my teacher training in Barnet and Southgate College and also in Middlesex University. During these times I was in classes with a few SEN children. Furthermore, when I started working for TimePlan Teaching Agency I extremely enjoyed supporting SEN children ; providing and developing their confidence, independence and also to encourage them to learn.
I am patient, calm, loving, kind, emphathetic and sensitive, this really helps me to understand the challenges these children face day to day and so I am able to recognise signs of distress or any other emotions and therefore offer them with the reassurance they need.
