About Me

Hello, my name is Carley and I have been working within childcare for 3 years now. I absolutely love working with children, being a role model to guide them through their first steps of discovering the world around them. I hold a level 3 qualification in as an early years educator.

I have experience working across all rooms of the nursery, supporting and teaching children ranging from 6 months to 5 years. This role is very rewarding playing a critical part in children’s development and having an ever-lasting impact on their growth. I am passionate about creating a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment for young children. I focused on each child’s individuality to ensure I support their development and enhance their learning skills through creating engaging activities, and building positive relationships with both young children and their families. I have developed a sharp sense of observation whilst working in a nursery, remaining vigilance that children’s activities are both age-appropriate and safe. I regularly monitor each child’s behaviour to sustain safeguarding standards and proactively check health and safety measures to maintain a secure environment for all.

Furthermore, I grew up with 4 siblings and being family-orientated myself sparked my love of working with children and interest in teaching. I understanding that every child is unique and have different interests which makes working with children even more exciting to identify different methods of teaching based solely on the child I would be caring for. As a child a hobby of mine was gymnastics for a number of years in which I later went on to coaching children between the ages of 3-14 being responsible for a group of children I loved watching the children develop and encouraging always to try their best being proud of what they have achieved. I have also have worked within a catering environment which I have cooking experience and cleaning experience.

In order to promote the well-rounded growth of the kids in my care, I combine my creativity, sports knowledge, and loving style as a committed and passionate carer. I think that children's cognitive, motor, and emotional development depends on involving them in creative pursuits like arts and crafts and promoting physical play through games and sports. In addition to being incredibly caring, I recognise the value of controlling kids' emotions and creating a serene, encouraging space where they feel free to express themselves. I'm dedicated about creating a dynamic atmosphere that supports each child's learning and emotional well-being, whether that means planning enjoyable sports activities, doing themed art projects, or providing emotional support.

Children developing thier personal miles stones is extremely rewarding to me. Watching a child take their first steps or saying their first word. Having children participate in creating projects such as painting, creating Lego builds or messy play. Children proudly presenting their work is heart warming knowing that in the right environment allows children’s creativity to flourish.
