Welcome to Pixie Magic Kids Childcare!
My name is Dee and I am a mother of 2. I have 10+ years experience in a childcare setting, working alongside my assistants to set up an 'Outstanding' childcare setting in Chatham . Our service and location ( 8 mins walk to Chatham Station) will greatly benefit parents in Chatham and the surrounding areas, who need to commute for work.
We provide a high quality and outstanding childcare service in a beautiful home environment. My home is bright and extremely spacious, allowing children to have plenty of room to learn and explore. We have designated play/learning rooms for set age groups and each room is equipped with resources that meet the requirements of the seven areas of Child development. All the children will have supervised use of the ground floor of the house which includes the playrooms, music room, toilet, kitchen and a fantastic size garden that has a log cabin which is a great place for the children to be in tune with nature,explore and understand the world around them.
Our curriculum encourages children to engage in self-directed play, as well as teacher-led activities. We have a variety of toys, puzzles and educational resources that cover the EYFS and KS1 curricula. Working alongside my competent assistants over the course of a week means we can provide even more flexibility and additional supervision for small group activities as well as outings.
Funding:
We accept Universal Entitlement (15 hours and 30 hours extended ) for :
- 9 months+,
- 2 year olds
- 3 and 4 year olds
We are also registered for the Tax Free Voucher Scheme, Fidelity, Edenred and Care-4.

My Availability
We are available Monday - Friday 7am - 6pm
We current have spaces for :

- 4+ years to 10 year olds (Wrap around)

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
- Pre-school age:
9 months+ to 4 year olds
- Day Rate : 7am – 6pm = £70
- Half day Morning: 7am – 12pm= £40
- Half day Afternoon: 1pm – 6pm = £40
*Full week : Mon to Fri (7am - 6pm) a 10% discount will apply .
*ALL Fees include hot meals, drinks and snacks prepared in house.
* 15 and 30 hour funded spaces are Available for 12 month+ - 4 year olds *
*** For 15 and 30 hour funded spaces for 3 and 4 year olds, meals and learning materials are chargeable
* A minimum booking of 2 full days or 3 half days per week is required for 3 year old and 4 year olds .
School age:
4+ years to 10 year olds (Wrap around):
We charge £8 an hour for wrap around care with either a minimum of 2 hours in the morning and/or a minimum of 3 hours in the afternoon.
** Pick up and drop off ( from/to school), hot meals, drinks and snacks are included in the fee.
