I have recently qualified as an Early Years Teacher, gaining my Early Years Teacher Status. I have a Masters of science in Applied Behaviour Analysis with Merit and a Degree in Health and Social Care.
I have experience working within a Charity funded nursery setting as their Lead SENCo.
I'm currently teaching in a Special Needs School and have previously worked as an Autism Classroom Manager in a special needs school for 7 years, prior to this promotion I worked as an LSA and then a HLTA in the same school for 8 years. working with children aged 4 - 19 years.
My Experience
I have worked with children who have had a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language difficulties, Global Developmental delay, Chromosome deletion and with children who have different medical needs - some medical needs being life threatening. I have also worked with children who display behaviours that are deemed challenging such as biting, hitting, kicking etc.
